Molecular Determinants of the Plant’s Stress Responses conference will take place on 14-15.10 2021 at the Faculty of Biology Adam Mickiewicz University (AMU). It is organized in frames of scientific cooperation between AMU and Christian Albrechts Universitaet in Kiel, and it is supported by the Initiative of Excellence Research University.
Conference topics deal with the very important aspects of molecular mechanisms developed by plants in response to abiotic stresses (e.g. drought, heat) and biotic stresses (e.g. viral or bacterial infections). Understanding these mechanisms will allow to design efficient strategies to develop new crop varieties better coping with stress conditions.
Lectures will be given by researchers from Christian Albrechts Universitaet in Kiel, Martin Luther Universitaet in Halle-Wittenberg, Heinrich-Heine Universitaet in Duesseldorf, Institute of Plant Genetics PAS in Poznan and Faculty of Biology AMU.
